Filipino Contact.com is a social networking and free classified ads website especially catered for the Filipinos. As a social networking site, it allows Members to create their own personal profile, and provides them with opportunity to meet new friends and find old ones with the help of Filipino Contact Services (”Services). It also allows members to come together in a healthy and safe web community. The services provided by Filipino Contact includes any Filipino Contact URL (the “Filipino Contact” website), the Filipino Contact Classified Ads, the Filipino Contact Instant Messaging, the Filipino Contact Live Chat and all other features (for example music and video)and content or application offered by the website.
Definition of Terms
Filipino Contact or We refers to Filipino Contact.com
Visitors refer to anyone who is intentionally or not intentionally surfing or browsing the Filipino Contact website.
Members refer to anyone who have registered or signed up with Filipino Contact.
Users refer to anyone who is using the Filipino Contact website either as a Visitor or as a Member.

All such Additional Terms and Privacy Policy are hereby incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
Eligibility
Being a registered member of Filipino Contact you certify that:
1. You are at least 14 years old.
2. The information you have provided is genuine and accurate, you are required to update your registration information as necessary.
3. Your use of our service does not infringe any appropriate law or regulations.
4. Your membership maybe terminated without warning if we believe that you have violated these conditions. If you do not agree to these conditions, please do not use the services.

Term

You may terminate your membership at any time from the My account settings page by clicking on “cancel account” Filipino Contact reserves the right to terminate your membership for any reason at any time by sending you a notification on the email address you have provided upon registration. Filipino Contact will not be liable to any damage or loss brought about by termination of your membership.
Password
You will be asked to provide your own password during registration. Please make sure you choose one that is known to you alone. You must remember to ensure the confidentiality of your password; your password must not be disclosed to anyone. Any activity under your username or account is your responsibility. You agree not to use the member profile, username and account of another member at any time. Filipino Contact is not liable to damage or loss due to any disclosure of your password or account. You agree to notify Filipino Contact of any suspected unauthorized use of your account.
How we protect your information
We take security seriously and we take precautions to keep your personal information secure. We have put in place appropriate electronic, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. However, due to the open communication nature of the Internet, Filipino Contact cannot guarantee that communications between you and Filipino Contact, or information stored on Filipino Contact servers, will be free from unauthorised access by third parties.
Use by members
All the services provided by Filipino Contact are for the personal use of its members. Commercial use of its services will require prior approval from Filipino Contact. This includes providing links to other websites. Members and or Users are prohibited from collecting usernames and or email addresses to be used for sending unsolicited emails or unauthorized framing or linking to the Filipino Contact website. Any unauthorized commercial use of this website will result to termination of membership. Filipino Contact will take appropriate legal action for any illegal and or unauthorized use of its services.
Content Posted
You are solely responsible for the content that you post on the Services including the ones you sent to a third party. Filipino Contact has no obligation to monitor, modify or remove any inappropriate Content, and has no responsibility for the conduct of the User submitting any such Content. However, we will try our best to review the contents of materials such as information, communication, classified ads, photos, materials, intellectual property, videos, messages, profiles, URLs and the likes that is posted on the website. Any materials that we may find inappropriate, offensive, illegal, violates rights or may result to harm or threaten the safety of any member or any third party, in our sole judgement, for any or no reason ,will be deleted. On severe instances, their registration may be cancelled and appropriate legal action maybe sought. Contents on Filipino Contact do not necessarily reflect opinions or policies of Filipino Contact. Filipino Contact makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the content and accuracy and reliability of the content or any material or information transmitted by its members.
The following are examples of prohibited content that is illegal or prohibited to post on Filipino Contact. In Filipino Contact’s sole discretion, violations to this provision will result to removal of the offending content, termination of membership and when necessary legal action may be taken.
a. Contents that is blatantly and deliberately offensive such as Content that contains bigotry, racism, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual.
b. Content that Harasses or advocates harassment of another person.
c. Content that involves the transmission of ‘junk mail’ ‘chain letters’ or unsolicited mass mailing or spamming.
d. Contents that promotes information that the member who posted knows is false, misleading or that promotes illegal activities or conduct that is illegal abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or libellous.
e. Contents that promotes an illegal and or unauthorized (’pirated’) copy of another person’s work (whether marked as such or not) such as but not limited to, providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent copy-protection mechanisms, or providing pirated music, video or other pirated content or links to such pirated music, video files or files that contain such other pirated Content.
f. Contents that contain restricted or password only access pages or images (those not linked to or from another accessible page.
g. Contents that displays pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind and in any form.
h. Content that provides materials that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner or solicits personal information from anyone under 18.
i. Content that provides instructional information about illegal activities such as but not limited to making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone’s privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses.
j. Contents that solicits passwords or personal identifying information of any kind for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users and engages in commercial activities and or commercial sales without our prior written consent, including, without limitation contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, and pyramid schemes.
k. Contents that constitutes promotes, or is used primarily for the purpose of dealing in: counterfeit goods, illegal drugs and paraphernalia, stolen products and items used, theft, unlicensed trade or dealing in stocks or securities, gambling items, professional services regulated by state licensing regimes or non transferable items.
l. For band, comedy filmmaker and other profiles, uses sexually suggestive imagery or any unfair misleading or deceptive content intended to draw traffic to the profile.
m. Contents that violates the privacy right, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark rights, contract rights or any other rights of any person.
n. Contents that promotes propaganda and or symbols or organizations which are unconstitutional or illegal in your country.
o. Activities that are criminal or tortuous, including child pornography, corruption of minors, fraud, trafficking in obscene material, drug dealing, gambling , harassment stalking , spamming, sending of viruses or other harmful files, theft of trade or industrial secrets.
Proprietary Rights
As a member of Filipino Contact you continue to retain any rights or form of ownership that you have in the materials or contents such as text, files, images, photos, videos, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications and the like (Contents) that you have posted on Filipino Contact. By posting any material into our website you are automatically granting us the right, and that you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide, sublicensible and fully paid limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content solely on or website through our Services, including without limitation distributing part or all of our Website in any media formats and through any media channels. This limited license does not grant Filipino Contact the right to sell or otherwise distribute your Content outside of the Filipino Contact Services. In addition, you also represent and warrant that you have the right to post that Content and doing so will not violate any applicable laws, including but not limited to the privacy rights, publicity rights, intellectual property rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity. You are responsible for any damage, loss, compensation, royalties, fees, and any other monies owing to any person or entity by reason of any Content posted by you on or through the Filipino Contact Services.
Filipino Contact owns and retains all rights to Filipino Contact Contents and its Services. As a member you are granted a limited, nonsublicensable license to reproduce and display the Filipino Contact content solely for your personal use while using or browsing the website. Members are prohibited to copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, translate or sell any Content included, shown or appearing in the Filipino Contact services.
Filipino Contact Content and its Services are copyright and trademark protected. Filipino Contact is a limited company registered in England and Wales.
Copyright Policy
Users and members who wants to post, distribute or reproduce in anyway using copyrighted materials or contents should obtain a prior written consent of the owner of such propriety rights. Suspicion of copyright infringement should be reported to Filipino Contact admin by emailing: admin@Filipino Contact.com
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION is needed:
1. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
2. A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located within the Filipino Contact services.
3. A contact number, address or email address of the contact person.
Your email will be acknowledged by Filipino Contact admin, and you will be further instructed to send any other relevant documents or information as necessary. Memberships of users who repeatedly commit infringement of copyright rights of others may be terminated.
Limitation on liability
Filipino Contact shall not be liable to the member or user of its services for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages (including lost profits) arising from your use of the Services even if Filipino Contact has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein , Filipino Contact’s liability to you for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the any amount paid by you to Filipino Contact for the use of its Service if there's any.
Member Disputes
You are solely responsible for the interactions with other Filipino Contact members. Filipino Contact reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Filipino Contact and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Services in violation of this Agreement and or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.
Other
This Agreement contains the entire Agreement between you and Filipino Contact regarding the use of the Services. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this agreement shall continue in full force and effect. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, no party will be deemed as a party (including another member) who is not a party to this Agreement has no right to enforce any term of this agreement. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives to the greatest extent possible under any applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The failure of Filipino Contact to enforce any right or provision of this agreement shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The section titles for this Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. Please contact us with any questions to this Agreement.
